The Volksoper is celebrating 410 years of operetta history - the 140th birthdays of both Oscar Straus and Franz Lehar, and the 130th birthday of Robert Stolz. All of three are great personalities and
each of them left their own mark on the "silver operetta" era, but also they are very popular and famous by their own: Straus as a film composer, Lehar as the creator of important works in true operatic style, and Robert Stolz as perhaps the last master of the German "Lied". You can visit one of operetta performances during your european vacation tour or travelling by european tour "Prague VIenna Budapest Bratislava". In this case you can visit the both - the Volksoper and the Operetta boat. |
