One of Czech Holidays, celebreiting in September is the Day of Czech Statehood (September.28). On this day the Czechs celebrate their patron saint and symbol of Czech statehood and national identity. The history of this holiday goes back in days, when the Czech Prince Wenceslas was murdered in the year 935 by his own brother and not long after his death he was declared a saint.
