The grounds of Bukovanský mill are situated on top of a hill between the villages of Bukovany and Ostrovánky, near Kyjov. The windmill, built in 2004, was complemented in 2007 by a stylish three-star hotel complex with an attractive offering for companies, tours and individual tourists.

Built in the traditional “Moravian-Slovak” style, the hotel grounds create an overall composition typical of a traditional miller’s farm. Within the grounds is the “Miller’s House”, including a restaurant offering regional cuisine in a period rustic setting, a traditional vaulted wine cellar with seating and a vinotheque rotunda where the best wines from the Kyjov wine region can be tasted. Quality accommodation, also in the rustic Moravian-Slovak style, is offered in the loft of the Miller’s House and in four separate Moravian-Slovak style cottages. Traditional stalls for folk artisans, an outside seating area, and a small podium and dance floor are ideal facilities for the various cultural and social events that regularly take place on the mill grounds.

On the grounds, there is also a garden restaurant with a children’s corner, a mill where you can visit a permanent exhibition and climb up to lookouts that take in the surroundings, bicycle hiring facilities, a multi-use grass playing, field and a large room with a fireplace for hire.

The hotel offers all additional services for business meetings and workshops, including the renting of technical equipment. The hotel’s reservation department can provide complete organisation of additional programmes (transport by bus and microbus, visits to historical monuments, outdoor programmes, cycle trips and the like).
